Climate & Global Change Fellowship Host 2

"Excellent peer review papers are the academic currency and this fellowship made it possible to complete the publication cycle on many papers. The main advantage of the C&GC program is to allow young researchers to work on their own research project, which usually represents a new direction in independent research. The program allows the flexibility to collaborate with other researchers, which leads to opportunities after the fellowship. Learning to write grants is a vital skill for any postdoc.

My postdoc was an immediate colleague with new and exciting research ideas. The experience broadened my view of the field by providing a new perspective from an individual with skills that were uniquely different from mine. In addition the postdoc built collaborations with others across the campus that I could not have easily made."
