Last Minute Changes and Notes
Please note that the museum will not be open until 0900 so all of our times will be shifted by 30 minutes.
We will meet at the west end of Pier 15 at 0900 on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and will be escorted into the building by museum staff and Jim Pettigrew.
All attendees will need to get a badge from the museum staff each morning.

NOTICE for Poster Session Users
The room where the Icebreaker is being held on Monday night is not suitable for a poster session. As our meeting room will be inaccessible that evening, we suggest that participants bring their posters on Tuesday morning.
The posters will be hung in our meeting room, taped to sliding partitions that can be swung out of the way during sessions and presentations. There is room for 12 posters, (maximum width of 40") on the partition walls, and room for 3-4 more using pushpins on an adjacent wall. We will arrange for a way to share the space.

Reservations must be made by February 1st, 2014 in order to guarantee the group rate. After that time, reservations will be accepted on a rate and space available basis. Please note that breakfast is included in the group room rate.
San Francisco International is the closest airport. If you won’t have a car, you can use the following modes of transportation to get to the hotel:
The Ice Breaker/Poster Session will be held at the Exploratorium Bay Observatory Gallery on Monday, March 3rd from 6-8 pm.
Lunch will be provided on both Tuesday and Wednesday. It is assumed that all meeting participants will attend these events unless you send an email to me at email@example.com indicating that you will not attend. (Vegetarian options will be available.)
Federal attendees: Please note, UCAR cannot provide meals for Federal employees. This regulation comes from OMB and OMB circulars and Federal agency regulations. It is NOT a UCAR regulation but must be followed due to funding terms and conditions. Therefore, it is requested that Federal employees contribute $18 toward each lunch. The amount is calculated by using the specific meal portion of M&IE for San Francisco.
