Focus on research related to remote sensing, soil moisture modeling, new satellite missions, cold season processes, and LBA.

Thursday, May 3 9:00 am -5:30 pm POST 2002 Mission and GAPP Implementation Plan Workshops Four parallel workshops focussing on i) cold land processes experiment and post 2002 mission, ii) post-2002 soil moisture mission, iii) water level and discharge post 2002 mission, and iv) GAPP Implementation Plan.

REGISTRATION:

All participants must submit a registration form to Paula Robinson at UCAR together with a registration fee. This fee includes the cost of lunches at the center plus the Monday banquet. Registration is payable by credit card or check payable to UCAR. Fees will be assessed as follows:

One-day: $60
Two-days: $110
Three days: $140
Four or more days: $160

A reception and poster session will be held from 4:30 - 7:00 pm on both Tues and Wed, May 1 and 2. There is no additional charge for these events and a cash bar will be available. A banquet will also be held on the evening of Monday April 30.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

***Note: please do not contact The Bolger Center directly for reservations - UCAR will submit your reservation according to your request on the registration form.

The accommodation rate per night for a single room is US $95, including Breakfast and Dinner. A credit card will be required to guarantee your room. Please provide arrival, departure and credit card information on the registration form. Contact Paula Robinson (see below) if you are unable to provide a credit card. Room availability and rates are not guaranteed after Friday, April 6, 2001.

CONFERENCE AND TRAVEL COSTS:

Participants are responsible for their own transportation, food and lodging expenses.

Please contact your local authorities regarding required travel documents, inoculations or health advisories pertaining to the USA.

PARKING AT THE BOLGER CENTER:
