The Airlie Conference Center is located near Warrenton, Virginia, 52 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., approximately 45 minutes from Dulles International Airport, and 1 hour from National Airport. To view a map, click here.

The retreat will be held in the Meadow Room, at Airlie House. To view a map of the Airlie Center campus, click here.

Continental breakfast on 25 May and 26 May will be served at 7:30 a.m.

Dinner on 24 May and 25 May will be served at 7:30 p.m., in the Airlie House Dining Room. Tables will be reserved for the Climate Program Board Group.

LODGING

The Complete Meeting Package rate is $104.00/day (full CONUS lodging and M&IE for Warrenton), and includes room and dinner charges on the day of arrival plus breakfast and lunch the following day. This rate does not include tax of 5.0%.

The Day Guest Package for those attendees not spending either night is $25.00/day (partial CONUS M&IE for Warrenton), and includes lunch and dinner on the day of your arrival. This rate does not include tax of 5.0%.

The Day Meeting Portion for those attendees arriving in the morning, spending the day and that night at Airlie is $9.00/day (partial CONUS M&IE), and includes lunch only on the day of arrival. This rate does not include tax of 5.0%.

Each attendee is responsible for paying his own bill in full at check-out.

REGISTRATION AND PARKING
Registration for all conference guests occurs in the Airlie House. Guests may park in front of Airlie House for registration, then continue to their overnight lodges. Because there are no sleeping rooms in Airlie House, guests should leave luggage in their cars until they have been assigned a room. If arriving by taxi or van, have your driver wait until check-in is complete to avoid having to carry your luggage to your sleeping quarters.

Ample parking space is provided at the Airlie House as well as at each of the overnight lodges at no charge to guests.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 11:30 a.m.

ALL GUESTS, including DAY GUESTS, are required to check-in at the Front Desk at Airlie House.
All attendees are required to present a credit card at check-in.
Any incidental charges will be posted to your credit card at the conclusion of your stay.

You may settle your account with the Front Desk at check-out. If you check-out of your room before your meeting concludes, arrangements may be made for storage of luggage.

The Whistling Swan Pub is located next to the Silo House on the main campus, and is open 5:30-11:30 p.m.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

From Metropolitan Washington (Preferred during evening rush hour)
Take I-495 to I-66 West via exit number 49 toward (Manassas/Front Royal). Go approximately 33 miles. Take the Va-245 exit (number 31) toward Plains/Old Tavern. Turn left onto Old Tavern Road/Va-245 towards US-17 N/Winchester Road. Turn left onto Jamews Madison Highway/US-17 and go approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Va-628/Blantyre Road. Take first right onto Airlie Road/Va-625. Follow for approximately 1.6 miles to the Airlie Center main entrance, which will be on the right just before the stone bridge.

From National Airport
Take I-66 West to exit 43A (Gainesville/ Warrenton) and proceed South on Rt. 29 for approximately 10 miles. Take a right at the traffic light onto Colonial Road and proceed for 2 miles. Colonial Road will turn into Airlie Road. Cross a one-lane stone bridge and take an immediate left into the Airlie main entrance.

From Dulles International Airport
Exit Dulles Airport and take Exit 9 to Rt. 28 South, follow to I-66 West. Follow above directions.

From Richmond and Points South
I-95 North to Rt. 17 North towards Warrenton. Go right on Rt. 29 North. Pass all 3 Warrenton Exits. Turn left at the traffice light onto Colonial Road and proceed approximately 2 miles. Colonial Road will turn into Airlie Road. Cross a one-lane stone bridge and take an immediate left into the Airlie main entrance.
